Auto-level
One click measures the mix and lifts it to −1 dBFS peak level — studio loudness without doing the maths.
For Ashfallmusic tracks that ship with stems, you mix in the ASM fully cleared stems yourself: balance them, cut clips with automatic crossfade, lay your own video over the top as a reference — and license the finished mix as WAV lizenzieren, with no collecting-society fees.
The Ashfallmusic ASM is a browser-based stem mixer that tailors a track's individual stems to the length and pacing of your project. Instead of taking a track as it is, you decide: drums down, vocals out, intro shortened, the drop right on the scene change — with your own video running as a reference above the tracks. What you hear in the preview is exactly the file you license.
Stems
Tracks with stems ship as Einzelspuren — for example drums, bass, melody and vocals. Every track has volume, mute and solo.
Schnitt
Split clips at the playhead, move and overlap them — every cut automatically gets an inaudible crossfade, just like in a proper DAW. You drag fades in and out using the handles at the clip corners.
Video reference
Load your video as a Filmstrip track with a preview window — frame-accurate to the playhead. That way you cut the music straight to picture.
Levels, curves and limiting are handled by the ASM in the background — you look after the edit.

Protects against clipping — in the preview just as in the file you buy.
The timeline zooms down to milliseconds and the waveform stays razor sharp.
Ctrl+Z undoes any action — from a cut to a fader move.
Your edit is rendered with every fade and level, and licensed in the normal way. What you preview is what you buy.
No setup, no software — just an up-to-date browser.
Pick a track with stems from the catalogue and open the ASM straight from the player. The stems load in the browser.
Balance stems, split them, drag fades — with your video as a reference if you like. Click anywhere in the timeline to jump there.
Auto level brings the mix to studio loudness, then your edit is rendered as WAV and licensed in the normal way.

Mix, cut and level individual stems — then license the result as WAV.
Wherever music should not just play but sitzen must.
No. The video stays entirely on your machine and is only displayed locally in the browser — nothing is uploaded, stored or processed. That is why even large files start instantly. After closing the mixer you simply pick it again next time.
Yes, because both run through the same audio chain: the same levels, the same fade curves, the same limiter. The WAV export is not a rebuild of your mix, it is the same mix — simply rendered at full quality.
No. The entire Ashfallmusic repertoire is fully cleared — it is not registered with any collecting society, neither for authors' rights nor for neighbouring rights. So no society fees apply to your licensed mix.
Yes. The mix is built from the stems of a fully cleared track and stays that way. Ashfallmusic has the clearance confirmed contractually by the performers and rights holders involved. On request you receive written confirmation of that clearance for your records.
No. Anyone who has edited a video before will find their way immediately: timeline, playhead, dragging clips. The studio side — crossfade curves, levels, limiting — is handled by the ASM automatically in the background.
Just an up-to-date browser. You can try it without signing in; the video reference track and buying the mix require a free account.
